Welcome to the Victorian Motorless Flight Group (VMFG), Victoria’s largest gliding club. VMFG is one of the largest non-commercial clubs in Australia. We offer free instruction, fun, adventure, great company and one of the newest and highest performance fleets in the country. No matter what your experience level, interests or ambitions we can help you achieve your goals in soaring flight.

Gliding has come a long way from the sport 50 years ago. Today, it is a high-tech sport, offering the soaring enthusiast many challenges from long distance flights, high altitude attempts, competitions, badge flights and much more. The simple joys of flight still exisit however, with many people coming to VMFG  just to enjoy a relaxing days flying soaring high in the sky’s around Melbourne. Situated at Bacchus Marsh, this amazing adventure sport is available right on Melbourne’s doorstep, just 50 minutes from the city, and ready for you to experience.  At VMFG have something for pilots of all levels, weather your an experienced pilot, want to try something new, learn to fly or give the gift of flight to a friend or that someone special!
